Michelle Sher, RP
Registered Psychotherapy, NLP, Certified Mindful Eating Practitioner
As a registered psychotherapist, Michelle can support you in moving through:
Michelle is a certified “Am I Hungry?” mindful eating practitioner who can work with you to improve your relationship with food and your body. Mindful eating takes a diet-alternative approach to helping you break the eat-repent-repeat cycle at the core of our current issues around weight and wellbeing.
Michelle works respectfully and compassionately with her clients, adopting an intuitive eclectic approach towards healing that acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual’s needs in moving forward. Some of the tools used incorporate techniques from modalities such as insight-oriented therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and somatic approaches.
At times, our way of being does not support our goals and desires. We may need help in understanding current thoughts and behaviour patterns. Michelle moves through obstacles with her clients, adapting each session specifically to your individual needs as opposed to following a “one size fits all” approach.
Michelle’s strength is in her ability to connect with her clients exactly where they are, and in helping them to see their own light at times when they may only see dark.
