Chiropractic is a health care discipline and profession that emphasizes the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. It works under the hypothesis that musculoskeletal disorders affect general health via the nervous system. The main treatment involves manual therapy, including manipulation of the spine, and other joints and soft tissues. Treatment may also include exercises, and health and lifestyle counselling.
This is a low force technique that gently corrects spinal & structural systems using a biofeedback mechanism. With KST, we use a chiropractic instrument called the ArthrostimTM to tap the bone into place, instead of using our hands to manually adjust. This instrument allows us to easily and comfortably adjust any bone or joint, including cranial bones. KST is very gentle, but very powerful.
